Lindsey Neal, Marketing and Public Relations Consultant

Studio Neal Marketing and Public Relations is Lindsey Neal, a freelance Marketing and Public Relations professional.  I help my clients gain media exposure, manage projects, plan promotional events and develop their brand both on and offline.  I also provide training to startups and small businesses, allowing them to become self-sufficient with their marketing plans.

I started out as a kid from Michigan that used to read the dictionary for fun.  True story.

My passion for words, marketing, and television lead to a BA in Communications from Michigan State University in 2001.

I battled the traffic trenches at BBDO Detroit, carrying scripts and tapes for award-winning advertising for Chrysler, Jeep and Dodge.

In 2004, I joined some of the best creative folk on the planet at The Designory in Long Beach, California managing projects on the Nissan point of sale account.

In 2007, I made a break to the client side, directing partnership marketing efforts for the International Association of Firefighters and United Auto Workers Banking Centers.

In 2008, I landed my first dream job as Director of Marketing and Public Relations for KOCE-TV public television.  There I learned to do it all nonprofit style, creating and executing all marketing projects for the station.  In late 2010, I helped guide the station through a complete overhaul that included a new brand, new schedule and new website as they became the lead PBS station in the LA Market.

In 2011, I moved on to my second dream job and Studio Neal was born.  As a freelance communications professional, I provide concise, targeted marketing and public relations services for startups, small businesses, and nonprofits across the country.  It is the best job ever.

I believe that we are living in a golden age of communication with unprecedented opportunity to connect with one another.  My passion is helping companies find their voice and raise it with high-quality messaging that hits the mark.  I geek out on using marketing, social media and new technology to help my clients find their tribe in the online world.

I find inspiration everywhere, often drafting ideas with an extra fine Sharpie pen in an unlined notebook.  I am most inspired by the work of Seth Godin, Steve Jobs, Hugh MacLeod, and Austin Kleon.
